The Maintenance Manager manages, organizes and prepares the maintenance activity to guarantee the continuity of the production process and buildings.He defines and optimizes the means to be implemented to maintain or improve the performance of the production apparatus in terms of costs and machine utilization rate.The Maintenance Manager organizes a professionalization of maintenance.Champion of our CMMS, he guarantees the relevance and updating of our site maintenance plan. He promotes the deployment of preventive, predictive and 4.0 maintenance.

General responsibilities

• Ensure that the CMMS is fully deployed, used and kept up to date


• Ensure that the defined maintenance plans are implemented/executed


• Ensure that the customer/supplier relationship runs smoothly


• Ensure that there is good communication with other departments (particularly the design office)


• Ensure that our personal safety rules are respected Ensure that our HACCP rules are respected.

Operational responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and assistance to the maintenance department, in particular for CMMS and subcontracting


• Troubleshooting and assistance to production if necessary


• Make breakdown analyses, suggest solutions and improvements to optimize machine performance


• Make targeted equipment follow-ups and rounds


• Participate actively in all maintenance operations (especially during annual shutdown)


• Provide back-up for Technical Manager and Foremen in case of absence


• Participate actively in improving organization and methods


• Relay between maintenance and technical purchasing to improve communication between departments


• Make plans, drawings and calls for tendersProvides technological watch


• Oversees and coordinates infrastructure maintenance (buildings, sewers, roads, etc.). )


• Responsible for drawing up and respecting departmental budgets (labor, parts and subcontracting).

Maintenance plan and CMMS

• officer in the follow-up, updating and relevance of our maintenance planImplements means to improve equipment availability and increase the proportion of preventive/predictive maintenance


• Daily management (issue of orders, encoding, weekly preventive schedule)


• Creation and modification of orders


• Document management: Ensures encoding in the CMMS of items in the technical store and associated computer documentation. Extracts and analyzes relevant information for reporting and KPI


• Approval and optimization of the system.

Optimization

• Manage maintenance staff according to needs, in collaboration with foremen


• Prepare production unit shutdowns for major maintenance operations every four months or every year


• Perform quantitative and qualitative inventories


• Analyze malfunctions in order to propose improvements


• Respond to breakdowns by weighing up the consequences


• Raise awareness and train staff in equipment and facility maintenance.

• Multidisciplinary technical expertise: In-depth knowledge of technical fields such as mechanics, electricity, instrumentation, welding and assembly


• Excellent maintenance management skills: Solid skills in managing a maintenance department, with in-depth knowledge of best practices in preventive, curative and predictive maintenance. Ability to implement optimized processes to maximize equipment life and reduce operating costs.


• Analytical thinking and problem solving: Strong analytical skills enabling rapid detection of priorities and innovative solutions to technical and organizational problems. Ability to act proactively to anticipate risks and avoid business interruptions
