To support our growth, we are looking for a (temporary) logistics planner.
What is the job about? As a logistics planner, you will give hands-on logistics planning support to our customers in their planning department.
- You are working at the customer’s site, in the neighbourhood of Boom.
- You follow up on the administration and carry out administrative tasks
- You will plan and follow up on the transports.
- You will be in contact with the transportation subcontractors
- You adapt the planning in case of unforeseen events
- You follow up on time deliveries and stay in close contact with customer service
- You validate documentation
Who are we looking for? We are looking for a team player who is passionate about planning and will take initiative in continuous improvement activities. He or she is willing to act as a logistics planner. An important part of this role consists of administrative follow-up tasks. Ideally he/she can also tick off some of the following requirements:
- has sound interest in systems and/or planning processes;
- has an interest in supply chain and logistics
- is able to combine hands-on mentality with loyalty to planning concepts;
- has good communication and interpersonal skills;
- is ready to spend a part of his/her time travelling;
- is fluent in Dutch, English and if possible, French; other European languages are considered an asset.
Both freelancers and temporary contracts will be evaluated.
