Job Description: The primary goal of the Logistics and Inventory Coordinator is to ensure the efficient management and coordination of all logistics and inventory operations. This key role involves maintaining accurate stock levels, coordinating the shipment and delivery of goods, and overseeing the import of products and services. You will be responsible for meticulous inventory tracking, preparing comprehensive customs and shipping documentation, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. By maintaining high standards of quality control and precision in inventory and shipping processes, this role supports the smooth operation and timely delivery of products.
Duties and Responsibilities: - Coordinate the shipment and delivery of goods, from individual packages to full containers, overseeing transportation across Europe and the import of products and services.
- Prepare and manage all necessary customs and shipping documentation, including packing lists, invoices, bills of lading, and certificates for global shipments, ensuring compliance with relevant customs regulations.
- Manage and control stock levels in Essen.
- Oversee inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels, eliminate discrepancies, and ensure accurate inventory control, including verifying availability, organization, cleanliness, performing periodic checks, and restocking supplies.
- Supervise the receipt, storage, and daily management of product stock in Essen, maintaining high standards of quality control.
- Maintain daily stock counts in accordance with PAR level requirements, ensuring order accuracy to guarantee correct and timely delivery.
- Provide technical support in the selection of suppliers or subcontractors.
- Organize circuits for product shipment to customers and coordinate various activities.
- Manage production flows and the logistics chain.
- Prepare manufacturing and packaging files.
- Optimize data related to production flow management.
- Update information systems.
- Provide technical support to production and logistics.
- Oversee the execution of internal and outsourced activities related to handling, storage, and transportation of goods.
- Execute the release of production documents and monitor the progress of manufacturing orders.
- Monitor stock, identify shortages, and place orders.
- Verify the conformity of orders, shipments, or deliveries.
- Plan manufacturing considering orders, production needs, and unforeseen situations.
- Determine and propose changes in the logistics chain.
- Identify risks of production disruption and supply issues, proposing solutions.

Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in logistics, inventory management, or a related role.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in inventory management software and logistics systems.
- Detailed knowledge of customs regulations and documentation.
- Languages: English and Dutch.
