From its three locations around the world, they apply these innovative technologies to pursue the discovery of safe, effective and advanced therapies for patients worldwide.

To continue to conduct this extremely important research, they are looking for new motivated Support Operators for the Zwijnaarde branch (located in the Technology Park)

This is the tasks of a Lab Assistant:

• You are responsible for the daily maintenance of the various research machines. You check the operation and inform the technical service if there are any problems.


• You ensure that the clean room (lab) is thoroughly cleaned every day. There should be no foreign substances present in this environment.


• You help move various samples within the clean room.


• You prepare reports of the tasks performed to maintain a clear overview.


• You follow all procedures carefully and ensure that all samples are treated at the right time


• You ensure that everything is in order so that the laboratory technicians can carry out research

This is the profile of a Lab Assistant:

• You have a secondary diploma.


• You speak fluent English (company language), knowledge of Dutch is a plus.


• You have an affinity with the medical sector or would like to learn more about it.


• You can carefully follow procedures.


• You are open to training on how to work in a lab.


• You are open to working in shifts as well as sporadically on weekends
