GT QC Testing Scientist
Functieomschrijving
- Execution of routine analytical experiments and method development activities under supervision.
- Follow established procedures and protocols.
- Collaborate with team members in routine tasks.
- Seek guidance for troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Decision-making, primarily under supervision.
- Follows standard protocols under supervision. Identifies issues with guidance.
- Support and assist in project/operation planning, data analysis, and coordination.
- Follows project/operational plans and guidelines.
- Assists in project tasks under supervision.
- Collaborates with team members and provides status updates.
- Sample management (availability in lab, shipment and reception).
- Day to day lab experiment/resources planning and equipment booking in GT Analytical Sciences
- Consumables and reagents management (stocks, orders, flow, reception)
- All these activities will be performed in respect of the material and premises, in compliance with the HSE/Biosafety/GSP or GMP rules and with the regulatory requirements for each development phase of the product.
Profiel
- A degree’s in Sciences
- Strong and proven laboratory skills.
- Ability to operate a selection of the following equipment/software is preferred: qPCR/dPCR, ELISA, Gel electrophoresis, UHPLC, dynamic and static light scattering, Empower, Chromeleon, Electronic Lab Notebook,…
- Previous development or validation of methods for viral vector products is a plus.
- Deep understanding of characteristics to be considered for analytical method validation.
- Knowledge of statistical tools supporting the development/characterization of reliable analytical methods.
- Knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements and of HSE/Biosafety/GMP-GLP-GSP rules
- Well organized, flexible, meticulous and rigorous (data integrity oriented).
- Proven autonomy in the lab.
- In a project: ability to work under scientific and managerial guidance; to write and manage analytical documentation as well as to deliver results for interpretation.
