You will:

• Supervise, plan, and organize the work of employees.
• Define and monitor team objectives, evaluate performance, and support development.
• Provide mandatory technical accounting instructions for foreign subsidiaries.
• Review trial balances, analytical procedures, and account reconciliations monthly/quarterly.
• Assist audit teams during their evaluations.
• Guide General Ledger Accountants on new accounting treatments, non-recurring events, and legislation.
• Develop and maintain standardized closing procedures and checklists for the group.
• Oversee the creation of annual statutory accounts and liaise with legal and audit departments.
• Participate in internal projects to enhance automation and the implementation of systems like RACs.

You have:

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Accountancy or Economics.
• At least 7 years of experience in finance.
• Strong knowledge of Belgian General Accepted Accounting Principles and CBN advisories (specific to Accounting Managers of Belgian companies).
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).
• Fluency in written and spoken Dutch and English.
• The ability to meet internal and external reporting deadlines.
• Problem-solving skills to tackle accounting and system challenges.
• A proactive, autonomous working style.
• Experience reporting to the Head of Consolidation.
