Project Engineer – European Technology Centre
Functieomschrijving
Join Plastipak’s European Technology Centre Europe in Brecht and lead the way in innovative and sustainable packaging solutions. We are looking for a young, motivated engineer eager to thrive in a multicultural and international environment. As a Project Engineer, you will drive concepts to market-ready products while ensuring technical and commercial feasibility. This role offers the opportunity to innovate, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and make a tangible impact.
- Plan and manage project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. Collaborate with Design, Process, Quality Engineers, and customers to define project objectives and determine technical feasibility.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Prepare and execute container qualifications and risk assessments.
- Promote sustainable design principles throughout all project phases
Profiel
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Technical Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Knowledge in CAD software principles and knowledge of packaging materials (PET/HDPE) is a plus.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
