Finance Manager

Our client is a leader in the distribution sector, recognized for its commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable growth.

This role will be instrumental in supporting the growth and harmonization of the finance function across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the finance team to achieve operational excellence.
• Partner with business units to provide actionable financial insights that drive strategic decision-making.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the CFO and senior leadership team.
• Oversee the timely and accurate completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
• Manage cash flow to ensure operational liquidity and stability.
• Implement effective credit management strategies to mitigate financial risks.
• Develop and monitor financial performance metrics (KPIs) to track success.
• Establish and maintain robust internal control systems to ensure operational integrity.
• Oversee corporate tax compliance and optimize tax planning in line with Belgian and EU regulations.
• Ensure accurate VAT compliance and filings across all applicable jurisdictions.

Candidate Profile

• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• A minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in finance and administrative roles, ideally in multinational and high-growth environments.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
• Fluent in French / German / English
