One of them is the International Development BU, who's acting as incubator of new countries in the group. To support the development of this BU, we are looking for a Finance Coordinator. Finance Coordinator - Renewable energies - Brussels As the Finance Coordinator for the International Development BU, you act as Regional Finance Manager and report directly to the group CFO. In this role, you manage a team of 6 people (directly & indirectly). Your main tasks consist in :
- Supervising and coordinating the local Finance teams (+/- 5 countries with one financial responsible per country)
- Guaranteeing the accuracy and compliance of local financial reports (in local gaaps), ensuring proper consolidation and management reporting
- Implementing and maintaining effective processes and tools to deliver accurate financial information
- Overseeing the forecasting and budgeting process and ensuring smooth collaboration between central and local finance teams
- Fostering a strong focus on cash management by working with the Treasury Department to create cash forecasting templates and guidelines
- Supporting local finance teams in executing finance and transformation projects, collaborating with project managers and IT specialists.
- Coordinating the establishment of financial and administrative structures in new countries, working with internal and external stakeholders
- Handling relationships with banks for project funding and overseeing legal compliance, including corporate secretarial tasks and contract reviews
- Developing and managing finance teams (accounting, controlling, treasury) and providing financial insights to aid management decisions.
Profiel
Finance Coordinator - Renewable energies - Brussels The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria :
- Master's degree in Finance / Business Administration
- 8 years of financial experience (audit / controlling / accounting / finance management)
- Good understanding of the Belgian accounting standards & tax (BE GAAP)
- People management or coordination experience
- Fluency in French & English
- Strong communication skills
- Capacity to have a global view while remaining operational
- Willing to evolve in a fast-growing environment.
