Field Service Engineer

Are you a Service Engineer with a passion for high-tech developments? Do you love turning these into realistic customised solutions and then make sure that they work properly? Our client is looking for such a candidate and the main tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Maintenance of installations at the customers' premises. This includes corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Emergency repairs if something goes suddenly wrong
- Mechanical and electrical maintenance on conveyor belts, cranes, AGVs, etc.
- Troubleshooting, and elimination of failures
- Permanent attention to safety regulations
- To be present at the customer's site for 1 day or longer, both in Belgium and abroad
Profiel
In order to qualify for this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in electromechanics, mechanics or electricity
- Good knowledge of automation
- Three years' experience in a similar function
- Ability to work independently and solve malfunctions individually
- Interest in the application of high-tech solutions in industrial environments
- Ability to keep the necessary documents correctly.
- Very good knowledge of English. Knowledge of Dutch and French will constitute an advantage
- Open for shift- and weekend work and willingness to travel abroad
- To carry out planned repairs in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations and industry standard practices
