We invite you to join our big little family! Your role and responsibilities:
As a commercial foodservice representative in the Region of West Flanders, you will be one of the key members in our foodservice sales team. You will strengthen our team with the aim of increasing market share in bakery products, sauces, margarines, fats and oils in the entire region.
You are the link between the market and the company and will proactively connect both with external customers and internal stakeholders to drive Vandemoortele's results in your region. Your key responsibilities:
- Visiting the out of home market within your region with the aim of consolidating and gaining market share;
- Actively seeking new or potential customers - hunting;
- Building strong relationships and long-term partnerships;
- Maintaining and strengthening relationships with wholesalers and their sales teams in your region;
- Preparation of your agenda planning and routing;
- Maintaining and actively using our CRM system (C4S/ SAP);
- Reporting on activities and market developments;
- You are the face of the company during trade fairs and demonstrations;
- You actively contribute to the standards and values of Vandemoortele;
- On a weekly basis, you consult running business with the field sales manager BeLux;

- Experience within foodservice is a big plus;
- You are a real relationship builder with a hunter mindset;
- Affinity with wholesalers and distributors is an asset;
- You master communication skills both verbally and in writing in Dutch, French and English;
- You have an active and proactive mindset, in function of the company;
- Open communication is important to you;
- You have a commercial attitude with a hands-on mentality;
- Autonomous, efficient and well organised planning is no problem for you;
- You have a healthy dose of assertiveness and responsibility;
- You see added value in reporting on a daily basis and you are able to do so;
- You have knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook);
- Performing towards targets and volumes motivates you;
- You have a driving licence B and can easily work in the West Flanders region;
- Being active in a CRM system is a basic part of the job for you.
