All-round Legal Counsel - Shipping & Green Energy - Antwerp
Functieomschrijving
Key responsibilities include:
- Draft and negotiate contracts, manage compliance with maritime laws, and oversee risk management.
- Advise on legal aspects of renewable energy projects and sustainability initiatives.
- Handle leasing & real estate files: property transactions, leases, and related legal matters.
- Support M&A, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage legal risks, disputes, and external counsel.
Profiel
- A Master's degree in Law and at least 3 years of relevant legal experience (law firm or in-house)
- Proficiency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
- Excellent contract drafting and review skills with a meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to think strategically, communicate complex legal issues clearly to non-lawyers, and work independently while being a strong team player
- Flexible, proactive, and able to handle time pressure with a stress-resistant and solution-oriented mindset
