Accounting Manager Benelux - Brussels - Online Retail

Our client is an online shopping platform known for its flash sales. The platform offers products from well-known brands at discounted prices for a limited time. Our client focuses on fashion, accessories, shoes, toys, household items, and travel. The company was founded 20 years ago and has since grown into a leading player in the e-commerce sector in Europe. Our client offers an exclusive shopping experience to its members by partnering with various brands and providing them with a platform to sell excess stock.

For the Finance team, they are looking for a new Accounting Manager Benelux.

• Oversee GL Accounting of Benelux


• Analysis of profit and loss statements


• Balance sheets.


• Monthly Closing


• Finance Business Partnering with managers and key users from other departments.


• Supervising + mentoring of 1 direct report


• Payment reconciliations and prepare various payments


• Oversee the fixed assets for entities within the northern perimeter.


• Preparing group reports (IFRS).


• Coordinate and ensure compliance with VAT returns (BE, NL, LU).

• Bachelor or Master in Finance/Economic


• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role


• Fluent in English and 1 of th 2 national languages (FR or NL)


• Experience in SAP is big plus
