Outside Sales Engineer

Description de la fonction

To strengthen their team situated in Diegem, our client is currently recruiting an Outside Sales Engineer.

As an Outside Sales Engineer, you become part of our Global Sales team. In this role, you will lead sales activities and drive growth by achieving sales, bookings, and strategic targets for our product lines, accounts, and services in Belgium.
Your focus will be on engaging with customers, strengthening relationships, and promoting Emerson’s products, services, and solutions within the Final Control Business Unit and other strategically aligned business units. You will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Proactively visit and engage with customers to promote Emerson’s products, services, and solutions.
  • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and trust.
  • Actively identify new business opportunities by understanding customer challenges and aligning Emerson’s offerings to their needs.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans that drive revenue growth and achieve business objectives.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to position Emerson’s solutions effectively.
  • Ensure targets are met for product sales, value, and timeframe.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, marketing, and customer support, to deliver tailored solutions for customer projects.
  • Represent Emerson at relevant industry events.

Profil

  • You have at least a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or in a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • You have a proven sales or business development experience within a comparable industrial environment (flow control, pressure management, valves, actuators, regulators,…).
  • You have a strong affinity for technology and technical products.
  • You are a born team player and are able to easily develop an internal network.
  • You have experience in using CRM systems and MS Office tools.
  • You are fluent in English and Dutch. Good knowledge of French is an added value.
  • You are willing to travel within Belgium. This means you are in possession of a valid driver’s license.
