Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting, assessing (risk analysis), managing, and/or negotiating a variety of contracts across differing business sectors including retail, offices, logistics, retirement homes, and public infrastructure;
• Being actively engaged in both investment and development projects (offices, residential, public infrastructure including public tenders, and PPP) with a keen sensitivity towards ESG (Environment, Social & Governance) aspects.

Specific duties as Legal Advisor (m/f/x) encompass:

• Preparing, reviewing, assessing (risk analysis) and negotiating contracts with contractors, architects and managing purchase, sale and option contracts;
• Redacting legal opinions on subjects in real estate law, civil law and administrative law (involving environmental and/or planning permits, soils, securities, public market, construction, etc.);
• Proactively overseeing disputes (drafting settlements or coordinating with the lawyer during judicial procedures);
• Keeping pace with the progression of legislation and case law, collaborating closely with your team members;
• Developing contract templates.

Requirements for the Legal Advisor (m/f/x) position:

• Education: A Master's degree in Law (from a Belgium University);
• Experience: minimum 2 years of relevant experience in real estate law within a real estate company/contractor or a law firm;
• Language Proficiency: Proficient in both Dutch and French, along with a solid command of English;
• Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office;
• Intellectual curiosity;
• Team-player;
• Excellent communicator, both written and verbal;
• Flexible and stress-tolerant.
