Director, EMEA Controller

The scope of responsibilities for this job include:
- Leading corporate governance efforts, embracing accountability, and fostering a culture of excellence.
- Establishing financial processes to ensure compliance with applicable accounting principles, internal policies, and regulatory standards.
- Preparing and consolidating accurate financial and tax reporting in adherence to monthly, quarterly, and annual requirements.
- Managing audits, balance sheet reviews, critical control monitoring, and internal control improvements.
- Driving compliance with statutory reporting requirements across the region.
- Enhancing management reporting and advancing post-implementation improvements in EPM systems.
- Collaborating with regional leadership, finance teams, shared services, and external auditors to achieve process optimization.
- Standardizing accounting policies across commercial, operational, and technical domains.
- Providing technical expertise, coaching financial staff, and ensuring alignment with corporate strategies and initiatives.
- Supporting M&A activities and special initiatives while contributing to process simplifications and group-wide projects.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Chartered Accounting certification or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, statutory regulations, and operational finance.
- 10+ years of professional accounting experience in both public accounting (Big 4) and industry, preferably in manufacturing.
- Expertise in EPM systems (e.g., OneStream) and ERP tools (e.g., Oracle R/12).
- Experience working in multi-national environments with cross-cultural collaboration.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally, with flexibility to work across time zones.
