JUNIOR IT Support Specialist

Job Purpose : Provide technical support to internal users and assist with various IT tasks. Participate in ongoing IT projects, including server consolidation and software development for fishing and automation solutions. Maintain and organize IT infrastructure, ensuring efficient system performance.
Technical Support:
• Troubleshoot and resolve a variety of user reported IT issues.
• Assist users with software installation, configuration, and basic troubleshooting.
• Reset passwords and manage user accounts across various platforms (production, services, etc.).
• Provide IT support and guidance to ensure optimal system performance.
Project Involvement:
• Participate in server consolidation projects, including data migration and server merging.
• Assist with the development of software platforms for fishing and automation solutions
• Assist with deploying and managing devices using Intune.
System Maintenance and Organization:
• Maintain and organize the infrastructure of PT systems, ensuring their smooth operation.
• Conduct regular IT asset inventory and maintain accurate records.
• Clean up and organize shared files and server drives to improve storage efficiency.
• Prepare devices for new hires or department transfers.
Additional Tasks:
• Assist with IT training and user sensitization programs.
• Handle multiple small IT tasks efficiently and prioritize workload effectively.
• Participate in deploying cybersecurity solutions.
• Create documentation and best practices for it
Profil
• English spoken and written : Level B2
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a technical support role or related field (or a strong understanding of computers and IT systems).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with users.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in using computers and familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing environments.
• Customer service orientation with a commitment to providing excellent user support.
Additional Skills (desired):
• Basic scripting knowledge in Linux/Bash and PowerShell.
• Basic understanding of Active Directory user management.
• Experience with server administration tasks (VMware, etc.).
• Experience with SQL databases or scripting languages (Python, VBA) (a plus).
• Knowledge of IT security best practices.
• Basic knowledge of Intune and Azure (desirable).
