Assistant Technical Manager
Description de la fonction
The main objective of this role is to assist the Technical Manager with the daily technical operations of the fuel facilities.In this role you will be focusing on:
Management & support
Follow-up activities & administration
Coordination
Meetings, reporting & research
Management & support
- The daily technical management in compliance with internal procedures and industry standards of fuel supply, storage and fuel quality
- Purchase and suppliers management
- Managing ad hoc projects (including proactively proposing improvement suggestions)
Follow-up activities & administration
- The technical follow-up and maintenance of the fixed and mobile facilities
- The budget follow up of OPEX and CAPEX projects
- The fuel administration
Coordination
- The coordination of investment projects handled by the engineering department to minimize interference with the operations
- Coordination of all kind of projects with the airport authorities, local authorities and other relevant stakeholders
Meetings, reporting & research
- Participate in Airport operations meetings
- Ensure the timely and clear communication and reporting to the Airport Authority
- Conduct research and gather information on various topics
- Prepare reports and recommendations based on research findings
- Assist in data collection and analysis to support decision-making processes

What skills are we looking for?
- Bachelor degree in a technical area (Engineering, ElectroMechanics,..)
- Broad appetite for all techniques (mechanics, electricity, automation and hydraulics)
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role is seen as a plus
- Dutch or French mother tongue + professional English
- Good knowledge of MS-Office (Excel and Project Planner) and AutoCAD (or similar drawing package)
