Operations Manager

Job description

As the Operations Manager, you hold a crucial position within TCR Group's Eco Centers. These centers, located in multiple global locations, serve as vital hubs for refurbishing the Ground Support Equipment (GSE) of the group, ensuring their safe, operational, and functional state. This process involves meticulous inspection, maintenance, repair, and component replacement as necessary.
In your role as Operations Manager, you oversee the refurbishing process, manage subcontractors, implement stringent quality standards, and oversee the orchestration of GSE conventions.
Your tasks are the following:
  • You optimize workshop capacity to meet operational demands and commercial commitments,
  • Ensuring punctual delivery of refurbished GSE to local entities is among your top priorities,
  • You garner support from local entities to establish dedicated eco center capacity, fostering sustainability,
  • Collaborating closely with local managers, you align their strategies with global objectives, ensuring cohesion,
  • Providing support and expertise, you implement best practices and overcome operational challenges seamlessly,
  • Cultivating a network of subcontractors, you bolster refurbishment activities, enhancing efficiency,
  • Your collaboration with TCR’s fleet department streamlines planning and execution, optimizing operations,
  • You enforce compliance with refurbishment quality standards across eco centers and subcontractors, ensuring consistently superior results,
  • Upholding customer satisfaction, you deliver refurbished GSE in pristine condition, exceeding expectations,
  • While delivering exceptional results, you maintain strict adherence to budgetary constraints for all eco center operations,
  • Coordinating GSE electrification conversion demos in harmony with operations, commercial, and asset management teams showcases your holistic approach to innovation.

Profile

The ideal candidate embodies the following attributes:
  • You have extensive experience as a operational manager / country manager,
  • Additionally, you possess experience in supply chain management – familiarity with distribution center operations is definitely a plus,
  • You have a proven track record of leadership, with strong managerial skills,
  • Moreover, you are highly results-driven, dedicated to achieving strategic objectives,
  • Sustainability is one of your core values,
  • You excel in stakeholder management and demonstrate excellent communication skills,
  • Fluent in English with proficiency in French, you possess strong language abilities.
