Robert Half is currently looking for a Junior Accountant (m/f/x) for a long term mission.
The company, active in the chemical industry, is located in the south of Brussels (very easily accessible by public transport).

Job description
As a Junior Accountant, you will join a team of 2 people and your responsibilities will include:
- perform daily accounting tasks, including purchase, sale, bank transactions, manual entries, and payments;
- ensure accurate accounting data entry into the systems in place;
- handle VAT returns for various countries;
- monitor credit limits and overdue positions;
- analyze general ledger entries, including month-end accruals, payroll entries, and deferred expenses;
- review and analyze stock positions;
- actively participate in the monthly and quarterly closing processes.
Profile
The qualifications required for this position are as follows:
- a bachelor's degree in accounting is required;
- at least one year of experience in accountancy is necessary;
- the candidate must be fluent in English and the national language (French/Dutch); proficiency in other languages is considered an asset;
- a strong understanding of VAT is essential;
- the ability to work well in a team is important.
