Head of Accounting / Fast-growing European FMCG group / BRU
Job description
- Manage a team of 2 co-workers
- Supervision of the invoicing done by the team
- Assume final responsibility for monthly and yearly closing processes (scope BE/NL)
- Perform monthly and yearly VAT calculations, and other tax obligations (ISOC, BNB, etc.)
- Assist the Controlling team for monthly reporting and presentation to Board
- Assist with the internal audit process and possible ad-hoc projects (M&A, business cases, etc)
- Point of contact for banks, external audit, and legislator
Profile
- Bachelor in Accounting (a Master's Degree in Finance / Business Management is a non-mandatory asset)
- Fluency in English + either French or Dutch is mandatory, a good command of the other national language is a strong asset
- At least 7 years of experience in a GL / Senior Accountant / Financial Controller position
- At least 2 years of experience in a Head of Accouting / GL Teamleader / Finance Manager position
- Strong command of BEGAAP and DUTCHGAAP standards
- Strong analytical and communication skills
