Human Resources Specialist with 3 years experience
Job description
The Human Resources Specialist plays a key role in every aspect of the well-being of every BEUC team member and hence you will have a variety of responsibilities:
- You take ownership for the ongoing development of innovative HR policies
- You deliver clear presentations to the team in order to ensure constant best practice for every HR policy
- You are the go-to-person for all HR matters for a team of 58
- You are responsible for ensuring that Group S (the Payroll Office) receives all necessary salary data in time
- You manage all recruitment processes from A – Z involving contacts with the Line Manager, jobsites, as well as interviewing and offer negotiation
- You are extensively involved with both the onboarding and offboarding processes
- You coordinate the whole yearly employee performance review and career development process
- You are in charge of the training policy involving topic research, contact with trainers, rollout of the training programme and follow-up
- You coordinate the secretary team’s planning.
Profile
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Soft and Hard Human Resources
- Experienced in and with up-to-date knowledge of Belgian Labour Law
- Very good English (written and spoken) + EITHER very good French OR very good Dutch (both written and spoken)
- A quick learner with a proactive and pragmatic approach, willing and able to take ownership and make a contribution
- An excellent listener who always makes time for people
- You are assertive but also have diplomatic interpersonal skills
- Committed to building working relationships based on trust
- Solid organisational skills and a keen eye for detail enable you to meet deadlines.
