Job description
ResponsibilitiesAs the HR Manager (m/f/x), you will be responsible for leading all HR & General Affairs activities within the organization, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and strategic objectives. Key responsibilities include:
- Embedding culture within the organization;
- Managing the full employee lifecycle;
- Overseeing global payroll processes and compliance with local labor laws;
- Supporting internal and external audits;
- Leading recruitment efforts and implementing talent acquisition processes;
- Managing facilities, company car fleet, insurances, and contracts;
- Developing and maintaining HR policies, guidelines, and procedures;
- Managing the personnel expenses budget and assessing training needs;
- Updating documentation of key processes and ensuring compliance;
- Implementing new HR projects, such as mobility plans and learning platforms;
Profile
ProfileThe ideal candidate should possess:
- Experience: Proven track record in HR management with experience in both operational and strategic roles;
- Skills: Strong knowledge of Belgian payroll processes, Belgian HR legislation, and proficiency in tools such as MS Office, HR Works (or equivalent), and Cornerstone learning platforms;
- Language: Fluency in English is required; French is a plus;
- Personality: Ability to take ownership, offer constructive feedback, work independently, and have a strong affinity with Japanese culture. Experience working in a multicultural environment is highly valued;
- Experience in diverse HR roles covering a broad range of responsibilities;
- Ability to handle difficult situations promptly and effectively;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with leadership and employees alike;
