Reporting directly to the President of the organization, your responsibility is to lead the development and execution of innovative HR policies that align with amfori's strategic objectives, ensuring the right talent is in the right place at the right time. For this, you collaborate closely with the leadership team to create a motivating, inclusive, and high-performing work environment where every employee thrives as an amfori ambassador.
TASKS
- As a strategic partner, you work hand-in-hand with the leadership team to translate amfori’s vision into actionable HR strategies, acting as a trusted advisor and change agent.
- As a policy architect, you design and implement coherent, cross-functional HR policies that promote employee engagement, development, and retention; while ensuring compliance across all regions.
- As an operational excellence leader, you drive global HR processes, from recruitment to performance management, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- As a hands-on HR specialist, you are in charge of the daily HR activities, both on hard and soft HR matters.
- As a people manager, you support managers and employees in navigating complex HR matters, fostering an empowering and inclusive culture.
- As a HR market leader, you stay ahead of HR trends and manage compensation strategies to maintain amfori’s competitive edge.
- As a treasurer, you effectively manage the HR budget
- Finally, as a network builder, you represent amfori in external HR networks, exchanging best practices and innovative solutions.

Profile
- You have a master degree or equivalent professional experience.
- You have at least 10 years of relevant experience within Human Resources, both on operational and on strategic matters.
- You have excellent knowledge of Belgian social legislation, payroll matters have no secrets for you including effectively managing an outsourced payroll in several countries.
- You have experience in budget management and actively seeks for efficiency opportunities
- You have experience in effectively working with outsource partners to deliver the full HR portfolio
- You are a hands-on person but are also able to work on a more strategic level.
- You have an excellent knowledge of English. Very good knowledge of French and/or Dutch is also mandatory.
- You are a born people person who can act in a diplomatic way but also dares to challenge.
- Finally, you have excellent communication and listening skills, are organized and able to work in a changing environment.
