Job description

Objective

To provide independent and objective expertise to maximize added value, optimize and support bpostgroup’s transformation programs and operations in the areas of governance, risk management, and internal control processes.

Your Mission

  •  Assurance: As a leader in audit practices, you coordinate internal audit activities to evaluate compliance, the effectiveness of internal control systems, and the optimal management of resources.
  • Advisory: You also provide high-quality advisory services to support bpostgroup’s transformation program. You maintain regular contact with management to stay informed of significant developments or emerging risks, propose and promote Corporate Audit’s advisory and support capabilities in response, and deliver high-quality advisory services to further develop the advisory activity of Corporate Audit.
  • Reporting: You regularly develop and enhance integrated reporting to the Audit, Risk & Compliance Committee, ExCo, and Senior Management, ensuring effective communication of the results.
  • Specific Requests: You respond to specific requests from Line Management and provide advice to improve governance, risk management, and internal control processes.
  • Best Practices: You establish the necessary contacts to understand best practices in internal audit and take the necessary initiatives to improve internal audit at bpost in line with market developments.

Profile

Your Profile

  • Experience and Education: You have a master's degree and at least 8 years of experience in a combination of the following areas: internal/external audit, consulting, process management, finance, or project and risk management. Experience in team management is a plus.
  •  Language Skills: Very good level in Dutch or French, good level in the other language, and a very good level in English.
  • Certifications: A certification such as CIA, CISA, Six Sigma, Prince2, AgilePM, etc. is a plus.
  • Technical Knowledge: Very good knowledge of internal audit procedures and audit and risk analysis tools. Experience with MS Office is required.
