AR Accountant (m/f/x)
Job description
Do you have a bachelor's degree in Accounting? Do you have assertive communication and enjoy dealing with customers? Then, this job is for you!
Your mission
Our Finance team, composed of about 25 employees, located on the Braine-l'Alleud site, is currently looking for a AR Accountant to strengthen this team.
What will you work on?
- Reconciliation of customer self-billing invoices with our sales invoices.
- Analyze customer payments and prepare input data for the general ledger accountant.
- Analyze customer overdue payments and overpayments and organize monthly meetings with the sales department.
- Follow up on claims received from customers and deducted from their payment.
- Check credit notes and invoice requests from internal departments and validate them for creation in ERP.
- Send payment reminders to customers.
- Prepare management reports on overdue and overpaid customers.
- Provide technical support for approval workflows developed in-house (SharePoint).
- Establish and maintain contact with customers accounting departments to ensure alignment
Profile
MUST HAVE
- Experience level: Confirmed – Min 3 to 5 years’ experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- French / English
- Good computer skills, especially in Excel
- Good communication skills
NICE TO HAVE
- Ability to integrate easily and be a team player
- PowerPoint & Sharepoint
