Senior Accountant

Our client is a prominent financial services firm specializing in asset management, real estate investments, and financial consulting. • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Assist in preparing comprehensive financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.


• General Ledger Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and reconciliation of general ledger accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.


• Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, monitor actual financial performance versus budget, and analyze variances.


• Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of tax returns, maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations.


• Audit and Compliance: Manage and coordinate internal and external audits, prepare necessary documentation, and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.


• Accounts Payable and Receivable Management: Oversee the processing of invoices, payments, and collections, managing relationships with vendors and customers, and resolving any discrepancies.


• Financial Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations, recommending and adopting best practices.

• Minimum of 5 years in accounting or a related field, with a strong track record of managing complex financial processes.


• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.


• Proficiency in accounting software (knowledge of Demasy is a plus) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.


• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Proficiency in English and Italian is required; French is a plus.


• Strong organizational and time management abilities.


• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting.


• Ability to work independently and lead a team.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
