Assistant Project Manager | Solar & Storage to join our project management team (Roeselare) in the newly created Carbon Shift organization within Equans.
In this role you support the Project Manager in all administrative supporting tasks to achieve the project execution within time and budget. You need excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and the commitment to delivering high-quality results.
As Assistant Project Manager you collaborate with cross-functional teams, monitor project progress, and make sure all supporting activities are performed within contractual commitments (progress reports, invoicing and payments, purchasing follow up,…). This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to grow in project management and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.
What are your key responsibilities?- assist the Project Manager in all phases of project planning and execution, from inception to completion
- coordinate and communicate with project stakeholders, team members, and contractors to ensure that all parties are aligned with project goals and commitments
- maintain and update project schedules, tracking project progress and adjusting timelines as needed
- prepare project documentation, including reports, proposals, presentations, and status updates
- support in managing project budgets, track expenditures, and report variances to ensure cost control
- assist in identifying project risks and developing risk mitigation plans
- ensure all project tasks and deliverables are compliant with our internal company quality standards and processes, client expectations, and regulatory requirements
- participate in regular project meetings, taking detailed notes, distributing meeting minutes, and following up on action items
- monitor and report on project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines
- provide general administrative support to the project management team, such as organizing files, maintaining records, and managing correspondence
