The scope of responsibilities for this job include:

• Oversee and manage all accounting operations, including payables, receivables, and payroll;
• Prepare and deliver financial reports, monthly data for consolidation, and cash flow reports;
• Handle month-end and year-end closings, ensuring accuracy and completeness;
• Guarantee compliance with Belgian GAAP and financial statement security;
• Manage tax filings in compliance with Belgian regulations;
• Perform diverse administrative tasks to support business operations;
• Act as a point of contact for financial audits, tax consultants, and other stakeholders.

The requested qualifications for this job include:

• A degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field;
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar role;
• Solid knowledge of Belgian tax and GAAP regulations;
• Bilingual proficiency in Dutch and English; knowledge of French or German is a plus;
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is advantageous;
• Background in the subsidiary of a multinational corporation is beneficial;
• Experience with group consolidation is a plus;
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills;
• Residency in the Antwerp region or willingness to relocate there.
