Project coordinator for 4-year project on adolescent sexual well-being at the time of widespread pornography use in a diverse society (SWYPPe)

Job description

The position includes the following assignments:As Project Coordinator of SWYPPe, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination, execution and completion of the interuniversity project within the specified time and budget. You work closely with the scientists and researchers involved from the cooperating scientific institutions and other stakeholders to achieve the project goals.
  • You are responsible for the development, preparation and process management of all project activities:
  • You draft and monitor project plans, timelines and budgets.
  • Together with the valorization manager of the project, you act as point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, such as Sensoa, Cavaria, WHAT,....
  • You monitor the progress of the project and report to the scientific committee.
  • You identify risks and problems within the project and propose solutions.
  • You facilitate team meetings and ensure effective communication between team members.
In achieving objectives, you take into account anticipated instructions and compliance with laws, regulations and ethical standards within the project.

Profile

  • You have a Master degree in a scientific background or equivalent competences gained through prior work experience.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft 365.
  • You have good oral and written knowledge of English and Dutch.
  • You act with attention to quality, integrity, creativity and cooperation.
  • You have strong monitoring skills.
  • Experience in project management, preferably within a scientific or research environment, is recommended.
  • Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative. research and insight into statistics are recommended
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility.

  • We offer a temporary contract for a period of 4 years/months.
  • The planned start date is October 1, 2024 or as soon as possible afterwards.
  • You will receive a gross monthly salary within pay band 8.1-10.1 of the pay scales of the Administrative and Technical Staff. Your entry-level grade (usually grade 8) depends on your relevant professional experience. If you work part time, your salary is calculated proportionally on the basis of your employment percentage.
  • You will receive meal vouchers, ecocheques, Internet-connectivity allowance, group insurance, an income protection insurance, and a bicycle allowance or a full reimbursement of public transport costs for commuting.
