Job description
As a Legal Advisor Life (h/f/x), you will be a part of the Tax & Legal Retail Life team responsible for the progression of life insurance services.
The role involves extensive collaboration with a vibrant team of six experienced legal advisors and the following responsibilities:
- Ensuring the monitoring of legal updates impacting life insurance market
- Providing invaluable advice to the management on strategic legal directions beneficial to the company's development
- Sharing knowledge across all legal departments
- Providing bespoke legal support to colleagues, distribution partners and clients
- Guiding and following up on disputes/complaints constructively with external advisors
- Contributing your expert legal opinion to ongoing commercial or technical projects within the company

Profile
The ideal candidate should possess:
- A Master's degree in Law
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar legal role or as a lawyer
- Perfect knowledge in French or Dutch with a good command of the other language + a good knowledge of English
- A strong sense of analysis, being capable of developing pragmatic and creative solutions independently
- A result-oriented approach with an ability to perceive beyond the legal context and understand the interests of the company
