You will join the company’s IP team which oversees and manages the organization's intellectual property assets in a way that maximizes their value and protects them from infringement or misuse.

Job description
The
intellectual property officer reports directly to the IP manager of the company with the goal to widen and accelerate our IP activities whilst continuing to build our long-term strategy in parallel.
These campaigns include protecting and exploiting the organization's intellectual property, such as patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets, to maximize their value and minimize the risk of infringement.
Here are some examples of the intellectual property tasks you will be assigned
- Develop & protect the organization's intellectual property assets, such as patents, designs, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.
- Ensure that the organization is not infringing on the intellectual property rights of others.
- Manage any disputes or litigation related to intellectual property.
- Maintain and update the organization's intellectual property records.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to intellectual property.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders within the organization to align intellectual property strategies with overall business goals (R&D, PMO, Product Management…).
Profile
- You hold a scientific or technical degree (engineering, technology, physics…) demonstrating technical versatility and an interest in intellectual property activities (patents, trademarks, designs…).
- You have at least a first professional experience in an industrial/technological environment, ideally related to IP.
- You have a very good knowledge of the spoken and written English and French languages.
- You demonstrate inventiveness and writing skills while maintaining a critical and pragmatic mind.
- You are rigorous, methodical, organized, autonomous and work easily within a team, understanding quickly the constraints and needs of each party.
