Our client seeks a Warehouse operations manager to oversee logistics, reporting, special projects, customs. This role involves leading a team and coordinating with various departments to optimise operations.
Our client is a prominent company specialising in FMCG sector. With a strong international presence, this role focuses on optimising supply chain processes and ensuring seamless operations across departments.

Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the warehouse operations, managing warehouse employees.
- Coordinate purchase planning with Sales & Marketing, optimising forward cover.
- Produce inventory reports and participate in budget and estimate preparations (demand planning).
- Oversee warehouse and logistics procedure changes, ERP updates, and IT flow optimisation's.
- Supervise the customs and excise function, ensuring smooth coordination with logistics.
- Manage building infrastructure, including maintenance and utility contracts.
- Collaborate proactively with management and other departments to drive improvement.
Profile
Successful Candidate Qualities:
- Proficient in Dutch, English, and French (Spanish is a plus).
- At least 5 years of experience in warehouse/logistics/operations management.
- University degree in Logistics, Business, or Marketing.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Flexible and solution-oriented with a drive for simplification.
- Team leadership experience, capable of motivating and managing a team of over 10 people.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and MS Dynamics Business Central.
