- coordinate the monthly closing process, including preparation of reports and analysis of figures
- provide group reporting for our Business Unit and associated legal entities
- periodic accounting follow-up of the legal entities within your scope
- preparation of Board of Directors' meetings for the legal entities within the scope
- support the Business Controller with financial and accounting issues
- preparation and follow-up of the year-end audit, including contact with the external auditor
- annual preparation of the social coefficient and standard rates
- provide various financial information
Profile
Are you our Financial Controller?
- master's degree in economics or finance, or equivalent through experience
- at least 3-5 years of experience in a financial role; experience at a Big 4 is a plus
- an analytical mind that understands business needs
- basic knowledge of economic and financial skills such as general accounting principles, cost accounting, and financial analysis
- knowledge of services to companies and governments and the accounting principles of contracts/projects is an advantage
- proficiency in MS 365, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- experience with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus
- familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI is a plus
- strong communication skills
- curiosity, quality orientation, open-mindedness, and commitment
- fluent in Dutch or French with very good knowledge of the other national language and good knowledge of English
