We are a small team working closely together, consisting of Legally qualified claims handlers, Master Mariners and Technical Surveyors.
- for account of international shipowners, charterers, traders, freight forwards and their (liability) underwriters, the handling of their maritime and transport related claims and casualties
- loss prevention supervisions of loading/discharging operations, including project cargoes
- legal advices on charter parties and commercial contracts

Job description
- organising, steering and monitoring surveys, both in Europe and in Africa
- reporting to our instructing Principals
- analysis and commenting on the causes of the damage - giving legal advice on the responsibilities of the parties involved in the accident
- giving legal advice on Charter Parties and Contracts
- maintaining commercial relations with the Clients
- in-house training will be provided as required
Profile
- You are holding a Master of Laws diploma, with knowledge of Maritime Law / Transport Law, with experience in transport and marine insurance related claims
- You are fluent in Dutch, French and English, both written and spoken
