Claims Data Support Officer

As a Claims Data Support Officer, you will be expected to know how to combine working independently with good social skills.

Credendo – Export Credit Agency
Your responsabilities will be:
Claims support
- You will support the department in making summaries in claims files, making standard decisions, uploading documents into databases, opening and closing claims files, etc.
- You will help prepare repayment plans for claims in Excel.
- You will provide specific support for direct-financing files, e.g. monitoring payments by delivering bills of exchange.
- You will provide support for the optimisation of software related to claims management.
- You will enter invoicing data into supporting systems where necessary.
- You will ensure the administrative follow-up of the claims files in the IT system.
Data administration
- You will collect data from the different IT systems in order to contribute to the various reporting requirements.
- You will help check the quality of data (including the content of the files and workflows) as well as perform punctual quality controls of figures in the systems.
- You will provide support for (all types of) audits of claim files, by searching for documents, procedures, and processed cases, and uploading them to the special audit platforms.
- You will assist in the exchange of information with the Paris Club, e.g. inventorying the working documents and keeping track of the various agreements with foreign governments.
Communication
- You will take care of correspondence with customers, authorities, legal bodies, etc. if necessary.
- You will help describe business processes.
- You will assist in the development and set-up of office systems, such as document management, administration tools, etc. if necessary.
Profile
- You preferably completed a bachelor’s degree or have equivalent relevant experience.
- You are an administrative all-rounder who acts quickly and efficiently and enjoys assisting colleagues with all kinds of issues.
- You have a strong proactive attitude that you apply on a daily basis and you are team-oriented.
- Your organisational talent is one of your strongest points.
- Discretion is very important to you and you are good at prioritising.
- You deliver accurate and punctual work.
- You work easily with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- You speak and write fluently in French and Dutch, and you have a good command of English.
