AP Accountant
Job description
- Managing AP accounting functions and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- Processing invoices, reconciling accounts and handling vendor queries.
- Managing and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Performing month-end closing activities and preparing AP reports.
- Assisting in the preparation of year-end audit schedules.
- Collaborating with the wider finance team on ad-hoc projects.
- Continuously improving processes and systems to increase efficiency.
- Ensuring the accurate and timely payment of all company invoices.
Profile
A successful AP Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in an AP Accountant role within the Professional Services industry.
- Strong knowledge of AP processes and related accounting principles.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
