Junior data analyst - international bank:Data Handling and Analysis:
- Collect, refine, and structure datasets to ensure data quality and usability.
- Perform in-depth evaluations of customer activities, product trends, and operational performance to uncover growth opportunities or areas for enhancement.
- Track and interpret performance metrics to guide informed business decisions.
Visual Reporting:
- Design and update user-friendly dashboards and reports to present key findings effectively.
- Translate data-driven insights into clear, actionable presentations tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Operational and Business Collaboration:
- Work alongside cross-functional teams to analyze and enhance products and services.
- Deliver data-backed recommendations to support pricing strategies, market assessments, and competitive benchmarking.
Workflow Optimization:
- Identify inefficiencies in current processes and propose solutions to streamline data operations.
- Partner with technology teams to enforce best practices in data management and maintain consistent data standards.
Trend Prediction and Scenario Analysis:
- Contribute to the creation of models aimed at forecasting patterns in customer behavior or product performance.
- Assist in evaluating potential outcomes by conducting scenario-based analyses to guide strategic planning.
A successful Data Analyst should have:
- A degree in a numerate discipline such as Mathematics, Economics, or Computer Science
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software
- A strong understanding of the financial services industry
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to handle complex data
- Strong communication skills to translate data findings into understandable terms
- Proactive problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail
- Fluency in French and English
