In this role, you will:

• Analyze customer creditworthiness by reviewing financial data, credit agency reports, and industry trends, while supporting risk evaluation for deal structures.
• Conduct customer visits alongside Sales colleagues to solidify client relationships and refine credit assessments.
• Ensure risk assessments align with internal policies, including Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements and sanction list checks.
• Input and manage credit decisions and collateral details in the company's risk IT system.
• Monitor customer creditworthiness, vendor guarantee facilities, and overall portfolio quality to mitigate risk.
• Follow up on potential bad debt situations and provide comprehensive portfolio reviews.
• Generate clear, timely, and detailed risk reports for internal stakeholders.

To thrive in this position, you possess:

• A bachelor's or master's degree in an economic or financial field.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in credit analysis within a financial institution, bank, or leasing company.
• Strong analytical skills, including interpreting financial statements and structuring data.
• Accuracy in written communication and a proactive approach to gathering information.
• The ability to work autonomously while thriving in a team environment.
• Fluency in Dutch and English, with proficiency in German or French being advantageous.
• A comfort level with IT tools and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
