Our client is an international law firm located in the center of Brussels. You will report directly to the global CFO and to the partners in Brussels. You will also manage a team of 5 persons.

Finance & Administration Manager

Job description

As Finance & Administration Manager (m/f/x) you will be responsible for the management of three legal entities and your responsibilities will be:

  • Coach, guide and mentor team members ;
  • Support and control billing and approve payments ;
  • Book salaries and large accruals ;
  • Review rental provisions and monthly P&L and balance sheet amounts ;
  • Prepare annual accounts ;
  • Provide financial data for business cases and decision-making processes ;
  • Prepare and maintain budgets ;
  • Serve as a point of contact for risk management issues ;
  • Act as a point of contact for audit ;
  • Prepare income declarations ;
  • Coordinate VAT or Tax inspections ;
  • Support for all partner information ;
  • Support transfer of clients.

Profile

The required profile for the Finance & Administration Manager (m/f/x) position:

  • Professional services experience, experience in a law firm and in an internal environment is an asset ;
  • Experience with team management ;
  • Excellent knowledge of Belgian GAAP ;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills ;
  • Highly organized, accurate and solution oriented ;
  • Open to changes and takes initiative (IT tools, review of processes,…) ;
  • Excellent knowledge of English and good knowledge of French and/or Dutch.
