Sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) Management Group mission is to improve structurally our management and coordination of our contribution to society, fostering a culture of sustainable development at Toyota in Europe.
This group acts as a central hub within the organisation to support strategy development and centrally coordinate sustainability and ESG related activities across the company and externally with the objective of embedding sustainability into all dimensions of Toyota's business, improve positions of Toyota's actions on sustainability, identifying the priorities and engaging all stakeholders for a positive impact.
As part of Sustainability & ESG Management Group, overall mission of Environmental Management is to act as a coordinating window between Toyota Motor Europe and National Marketing & Sales Companies, European Manufacturing Companies and the parent company Toyota Motor Corporation in Japan for environmental compliance, tracking of legislative developments, implementation of environmental legislation requirements, coordinating environmental management system and leading 5-year Environmental Action planning & implementation.
This is a dynamic division in TME, where you’ll be able to present your own ideas and contribute to your self-development by engaging many areas of the business from sustainability to product development, sales to business strategy.
Your responsibilities:
We are seeking an Interim to maintain and further develop our compliance activities in the field of Batteries to fulfil the requirements of the EU Batteries and Waste Batteries Regulation (EUBR) and maintain the established schemes for battery end-of-life management within the Toyota network.
