For our client active in the TECHNICAL SECTOR, we are looking for an EXPORT ASSISTANT located in KORTENBERG.

Job description



As an EXPORT ASSISTANT, you are responsible to provide the correct information via e-mail so that you promote the companies products as a preferred brand to your end customers!



Your diverse task package consists of:



• Daily contact with customers via e-mail

• Providing correct advice to dealers (prices, promotions, availability, delivery status,...)

• Ensuring the correct entry of orders into the inventory system on a daily basis

• Order follow-up (RMA, complaints, pricing, back orders,...)

• Preparation of proforma invoices based on Excel data

• Checking and recording purchase invoices in the inventory system in preparation for receiving goods in the warehouse

• Checking all kinds of documents (transport documents, certificates of origin, certificates of conformity, EUR1,...)

• Monitor delivery times and prices, take action where necessary

• General administrative tasks to support the department

Profile



Our ideal EXPORT ASSISTANT possesses the following qualities:



• You are a customer-oriented, problem-solving team player.

• You can work accurately.

• You have knowledge of customs regulations, customs tariff codes, and excise regulations.

• You preferably have knowledge of Incoterms and some technical understanding and an affinity with the product range.

• In addition, you are fluent in French and English (spoken and written)

• A good knowledge and practical experience with MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook is necessary.

Enjoy a great work-life balance: you work full-time, 39 hours per week, with a negotiable schedule from Monday to Friday. After a training period, you can work 1 day per week from home.



A salary that counts: your salary is determined based on your age and ranges between 2,400 and 3,100 € gross/month, supplemented with meal vouchers of 8€ and an insurance package upon permanent contract.
