Zoom on your key responsibilities:
- strategy & objectives: contribute to the implementation of procurement strategies and objectives in line with company goals
- sourcing: manage high-value and complex purchasing requests, applying strategic sourcing processes and negotiating agreements to ensure maximum value
- governance: implement procurement policies and communicate governance effectively across all stakeholders
- coaching: mentor junior buyers to enhance procurement capabilities within the team
- reporting: track and report on procurement savings and targets
- as needed, you act as Procurement Project Lead, Contract Manager, Subject Matter Expert, Global Category Lead Buyer, or Supplier Relationship Manager
Profile
What do you need to be successful in this function?
- master's degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ years in multi-technical procurement
- proficient in MS Office
- strong negotiation, contracting, and financial management skills
- excellent communication and influencing abilities
- fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus
