SAP Specialist (Mechelen)

Our client is a global leader in the manufacturing sector, specializing in innovative products that support sustainable solutions.

? SAP Customization & Configuration:

• Focus on SAP S/4HANA configuration and optimization, addressing underutilized capabilities within the system.


• Configure COUPA and integrate it effectively with other systems to improve reconciliation and reporting processes.

? Process Improvement & Reporting:

• Analyze current reporting practices, identify gaps, and lead efforts to align reporting with business needs by customizing SAP S/4HANA and COUPA modules.


• Redesign and streamline financial processes for greater efficiency and better use of SAP functionalities.

? Support & Ticketing:

• Manage support tickets related to SAP S/4HANA and COUPA, troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently.


• Act as the point of contact for internal stakeholders, providing guidance on SAP-related inquiries and troubleshooting.

? Collaboration with Finance Department:

• Work closely with the finance team to understand their needs and translate them into effective SAP configurations and customizations.

• Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA and COUPA configuration and customization.


• Strong knowledge of financial processes and reporting within SAP.


• Experience in system integration and troubleshooting, particularly in SAP environments.


• Ability to work closely with non-technical users to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.


• Ability to identify inefficiencies in existing systems, recommend solutions, and optimize SAP systems to better serve business needs.


• Ability to take ownership of SAP ticketing and support processes.


• Fluent in English (both written and spoken).


• At least 3-5 years of experience working in a similar role, with a solid technical foundation and business acumen.
