Sales and logistics assistant

Job description

As a Sales and Logistics Assistant, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Ensure the complete management of sales, purchase, swap and product transfer contracts in liaison with the relevant departments: planning operations, monitoring quality inspections, managing the commercial and logistics interface with customers and suppliers...;
  • Act as a point of contact for internal and external staff and customers; 
  • Manage incoming/outgoing product balances and inventories;
  • Organize the transport of goods via various channels: follow safety procedures, manage chartering requests, rail requirements...;
  • Perform administrative tasks such as data management, organization of weekly supply chain meetings and electronic archiving;
  • Monitor contracts and compliance with contractual conditions, while ensuring customer satisfaction and minimizing costs;
  • Be prepared to provide Front Office back-up.

Profile

Do you have the following qualities and skills? Then you're our candidate!

  • You speak perfect French and English; Dutch and German are an asset;
  • You have a bachelor's degree in foreign trade or equivalent experience;
  • You are fluent in SAP and Excel;
  • You are logical, rigorous and a team player;
  • You are flexible and stress-resistant;
  • You are an excellent communicator.

  • A 3-month replacement contract starting 07/10/2024;
  • Full-time contract 36 hours/week;
  • A work schedule as follows: 9h-11h15/14h-16h15;
