Laboratory Analyst
Job description
What if your laboratory expertise could drive high-impact analyses that shape industry standards?As a
Laboratory Analyst at Equans, you will be at the heart of laboratory operations, ensuring accurate analyses and maintaining the highest standards in quality control. You will oversee the
TEM sector, managing
planning, analysis, and report writing, while ensuring compliance with strict environmental and safety regulations.
With us, you’ll take the lead in:- calibrating and verifying laboratory measuring instruments
- conducting quality control measures to maintain analytical accuracy (including QC, CRM, standard addition, and interlaboratory testing)
- performing chemical analyses of water samples according to established procedures
- coordinating sampling schedules in collaboration with clients and the Lab Manager
- maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring proper functionality
- managing material inventory, reagents, and laboratory supplies
- recording and analyzing results in WinLIMS
- preparing analytical reports, including interpretations and conclusions, for timely client delivery
- contributing to the validation of analytical methods and the development of technical procedures
- identifying and recommending opportunities to enhance the quality management system
- adhering strictly to environmental and safety regulations
- offering support to clients in managing their water and air treatment installations
Profile
What you bring to the table:- a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, laboratory sciences, or a related field
- proficiency in reading and understanding technical English documentation
- proficiency in common computer applications
- strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality
- team-oriented, with the ability to learn and implement new techniques
- fluency in Dutch and French (ideally). A strong command of Dutch is necessary
