Variety is key in this position in our Maintenance and Intervention section. The food industry, pharmaceuticals, (petro)chemicals, offices,... there are many different environments and sectors in which you can put your technical skills to use.
Equans is active on both larger projects (new construction & renovation) and SMEs. This in the areas of heating, plumbing, air-conditioning, ventilation and climate control systems.
After a thorough training you are all set to be in charge of maintenance and repairs on various refrigeration systems. We have sites and clients throughout Flanders. So you surely have the opportunity to be active in a region close to home.

The job?
- maintain refrigeration systems together with your team or independently: preventive and corrective maintenance
- troubleshoot errors, fix malfunctions and adjust machinery
- assembly and installation of refrigeration systems
- work on both large and small installations (CO2/Freon/NH3)
Profile
- training in refrigeration technology (HVAC, refrigeration and heating technology, air-conditioning) or equivalent through experience
- VCA safety certificate or willingness to obtain it
- cat. 1 refrigeration technician certificate (plus)
- good knowledge of electricity & electrical schematics
- customer-oriented, team player who can also work independently
- can-do mentality with passion for engineering
- flexibility
- driver's license category B
