Job description
The Civil/Infra Purchaser will be in charge to:
- Develop and oversee procurement plans for projects involving earthworks, demolitions, and civil works.
- Extract and schedule material requirements based on drawings and specifications.
- Collaborate with Procurement category managers to secure optimal conditions for project-specific needs.
- Issue supplier tender inquiries, evaluate responses, and perform comparative analyses.
- Source, select, and negotiate procurement packages, prioritizing quality, price, terms, delivery, and service with suppliers and contractors.
- Prepare and process purchase documents and orders in line with project specifications.
- Support construction sites with daily requirements for equipment and materials.
- Optional: Coach a small team of Jr/Mdr Buyers (approx. 2-4 fte)

Profile
The Civil/Infra Purchaser we are looking for has/is (a):
- Relevant higher degree or equivalent by experience
- Track record within the procurement of construction goods & services (civil/infrastructure related)
- Understanding of materials used in groundworks;
- Good negotiator, commercial oriented, communicative and stakeholder manager
- Strong professional knowledge of Dutch and English (French is a plus)
