Job description
As the successful ESG Project Manager, you will have the following responsibilities:

Training and Awareness:
- Develop and execute ESG strategies, policies and initiatives that align with the company's overall mission and goals.
- Monitor and report on ESG performance, including environmental impact, social responsibility, and governance practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ESG considerations into business operations and decision-making processes.
- Lead and manage multiple projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop project plans, define project scope and objectives, and coordinate resources and stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Play a strong role in creating a strategic roadmap, implementing the requirements, and setting up necessary internal structures and processes for various projects, especially related to EU requirements on sustainability reporting (CSRD, Taxonomy).
- Manage CO2 emissions and related certifications, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, investors, customers, and regulatory bodies.
- Communicate ESG initiatives and progress to stakeholders through reports, presentations, and meetings.
- Represent the company in industry forums, conferences, and other relevant events.
- Ensure compliance with relevant ESG regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Prepare and submit regular ESG reports to senior management and external stakeholders.
- Conduct ESG audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and deliver ESG training programs for employees to raise awareness and promote a culture of sustainability.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to ESG.
Profile
As the successful ESG Project Manager, you will have the following requirements:
- At least a University degree (Master or diploma) in the area of sustainability, business administration, law, social sciences or equivalent by experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in ESG management, sustainability, or related fields.
- Fluent in English & French - Any other EU language will be consider as an asset
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and driving ESG initiatives.
- Strong understanding of ESG frameworks, standards, and reporting practices (e.g. CSRD and EU Taxonomy)
- Excellent project management skills with proficiency in project management software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel frequently to collaborate with global teams and stakeholders.
