Job description
As a Process Engineer, your role is pivotal in driving operational efficiency and achieving production goals. You'll leverage your expertise to streamline processes, reduce waste, and enhance quality. By collaborating closely with teams, you'll implement innovative solutions and continuously improve our manufacturing operations. Your proactive approach and technical acumen will contribute significantly to our success in delivering high-quality products efficiently.
a) Time and Motion Studies:
a) Time and Motion Studies:
- Conducts comprehensive studies of time and movements involved in operations, utilizing engineering principles to validate and optimize processes effectively.
- Actively tracks and evaluates improvements implemented in production processes, utilizing engineering expertise to analyze data and ensure continuous enhancement.
- Facilitates training sessions on new operational procedures, leveraging engineering knowledge to impart comprehensive understanding and ensure smooth transitions.
- Manages the application of production procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), utilizing engineering insight to ensure accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
- Operates in strict accordance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) protocols, quality assurance guidelines, and environmental policies, utilizing engineering expertise to ensure adherence and mitigate risks.
- Provides detailed reports on environmental management system applications and deviations to supervisors, utilizing engineering analysis to offer actionable insights for improvement and compliance.
Profile
- You possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in comparable positions within the industry.
- Demonstrate a robust understanding of the sector and product landscape.
- Exhibit foundational knowledge in key methodologies including IATF, APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP, and 8D.
- Proficiently navigate Power BI, SharePoint, and SAP platforms as a user.
- Showcase expertise in Lean Six Sigma methodologies, including Green Belt certification, and proficiency in Lean Manufacturing techniques like SMED and 5S.
- Maintain an intermediate level of proficiency in the MS Office suite.
- Fluent English language skills are essential.
- Showcase adept soft skills, including strategic thinking, effective habit formation, and proficient team management and motivation abilities.
